About Lawyer Today

Lawyer Today started in 2014 as a small library of Florida legal explainers and has been maintained on and off since. This version was rebuilt from the ground up: the design is new, the navigation is organized by area of law instead of scattered blog posts, and we removed a large block of unrelated sidebar links that had accumulated over the years and had nothing to do with legal information.

What this site is

An independent reference for people trying to understand a legal situation before — or instead of — calling an attorney. Articles are grouped into seven areas of law, plus an Insights section covering notable cases and legal-industry news.
