If there were any children within your marriage and they’re still minors the court is obligated to approve a parenting plan and order custody for the children including visitation rights and the responsibilities. Depending on how much time is spent with the children and the respective incomes of the individual parents as well as other factors the court may order that child support must be paid to one of the spouses.
